Island Squall
Island Squall

A rain squall greets me as I approach eastern Tortola of the British Virgin Islands. The squall is just behind Buck Island. If I continued past Buck Island and turned north (to the right) after the next headland, I would be heading to Road Town, the capital of the BVIs.

Rain squalls are typical occurrences while sailing in these islands during the summer. Usually you sail around them if you have room.
